SpongeBob SquarePants: Global Warming Stooge

Fox News may find the story of Rupert Murdoch sanctioning massive illegal phone hacking to be relatively unimportant, but that's because they have other sea creatures to fry.

The focus of their outrage is Spongebob Squarepants, the star of Nickelodeon's hit cartoon. Spongebob had one episode lampooning the global warning crisis, and this was proof to Fox that he is part of the liberal plot to push the climate change agenda. They claimed SpongeBob was shown to kids by the Department of Education, which is technically false, since no cartoon were shown (although booklets supplied by Nickelodeon including Spongebob and Dora the Explorer were given out as part of the company's "Big Green Help" campaign.) In any case, this is the biggest story uncovered by the right since The Smurfs were outed as a totalitarian communist regime.

At some point, the right wing needs to get a life. It's ridiculous to think SpongeBob is a radical ecowarrior propaganda work. After all, everyone knows it's actually part of the homosexual plot to subvert traditional values and promote sexual deviancy. Duh!
