I've just learned an old dear friend, Sasha Gabor, died in June. I hadn't spoken to him in awhile, but had kept in good contact with him over email since he moved to Norway in 2001. I had helped him move out of a bad living situation he had in Venice back in 2000, and he did crash at my pad for awhile. He was also a good pal of my friend Chris Dolan of Indoortan.com. "Sasha" Gabor Sarközi (6 June 1945 -27 June 2008) was a Norwegian pornographic actor. He came to Norway from Hungary as a refugee in 1957

Born as Gabor Sarközi in Hungary, Sasha Gabor started his career as a pornographic actor in 1983 as a 38 year old in USA with the movie Every Woman has a Fantasy. He quickly progressed to become a pretty popular actor, much due to his physical similarity to Burt Reynolds and Sean Connery.

Besides working in the porno industry, Sasha Gabor worked as a musician, pilot, writer, and as a Burt Reynolds- and Sean Connery-look-alike. He also spoke eight languages; Norwegian, English, Hungarian, German, French, Russian, Spanish and Portuguese.

Gabor always wore a necklace with a Star of David (including his movies) because of his Jewish origin. It is likely that his name is inspired of the Hungarian-American actress Zsa Zsa Gabor. Sasha is a common nickname for Samuel, his birth name.

Gabor moved back to Norway in 2001. He died from cardiac arrest while on holiday in Thailand, having suffered from heart problems for some time.

He was a close personal friend of fellow pornography actor Ron Jeremy.
