Farewell Shaq
Shaquille O'Neal retires from the NBA with 28,596 points (fifth all-time) and four championship rings, including three straight with the Los Angeles Lakers where he was the NBA Championship MVP. Often plagued by injuries, weight problems and bad free-throw shooting, some may snipe he never fully reached his full potential (winning only one regular season MVP.) That said, from 2000-2, he was the most dominating postseason player ever outside of Michael Jordan. That's a pretty hard compliment to knock. Oh yeah, he also makes great shoes...
