Palm Springs, CA – Polimedia Publishing announces the reissue of John Dean’s definitive insider account of the Watergate scandal, Blind Ambition, with a powerful new Afterword. Dean appends his original bestseller with new revelations and details that answer the most persistent questions lingering since the original investigation. Readers will be astonished with the brutal honesty of Dean’s disclosures, which finally close the case on Watergate. The powerful new Afterword, an extended essay, explains with the insightful clarity why (and how) a bungled, conspicuously amateurish burglary at the Democratic National Committee unraveled a presidency, forcing Richard Nixon from office; he also provides definitive answers to outstanding historical questions which he is uniquely qualified to answer; and Dean alerts us all to the deceitful and growing efforts by Nixon apologists and those out to make a fast buck to rewrite this tragic chapter of American history by reinventing it.

The inside story of a President and his staff acting above the law in achieving their goals has timeless relevance. For the millions of Americans too young to remember Watergate, Blind Ambition is a vigorous introduction to the corrupting influence of governmental power. Those familiar with Watergate will find new information and correlations to recent events in American history. Dean’s perceptive new Afterword, when read with this now classic autobiographical work, truly closes the case on Watergate. Blind Ambition was on the NY Times Bestseller List for six months at its original publication. It is still considered the most conclusive and reliable chronicle of the scandal that undid a presidency

Out of print for more than two decades, Blind Ambition will be republished on June 17th 2009, the 37th anniversary of the infamous Watergate break-in; and, not coincidentally, it will be launched at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library in Yorba Linda, CA, which is now operated by that National Archives and Records Administration. It will be John Dean’s first visit to the Nixon Library. Dean will tour extensively to promote the book through both media and personal appearances.

He served as Nixon's White House lawyer for a thousand days . The author of ten non-fictions works, Dean’s most recent NY Times best selling books include, Worse Than Watergate, Conservatives Without Conscience and Broken Government: How Republican Rule Destroyed the Legislative, Executive and Judicial Branches

Much any design for which it is difficult to read the basic texts that actually contain information. Their effectiveness is low. Only time spent on the transfer of endlessly through the channels of communication
