Established in 2007, the LA Media Reform Group has enjoyed a history of producing three successful annual Regional Reform Summits with hands-on training towards the goal of facilitating an understanding of today's electronic media, how to effectively access and utilize it for outreach, public education, social justice and development. Past speakers have included Bree Walker, FCC Chairman Jonathon Adelstein, Hilda Solis, Brad Friedman and Mario Solis Marich.
This year we will hear from the Courage Campaign’s Executive Director, Rick Jacobs, and Martin Kaplan, director of the Norman Lear Center and research professor at the USC Annenberg School for Communication. Full Schedule available here.
